02 WAX MODEL

Our experienced craftsmen incorporate the traditional technique to hand carve all the intricate details into the wax model. The model will be heated up in an oven, to create a duplicated master model filled with metal.

The master model is packed into a special kind of rubber and squeezed tight under high temperature and pressure. The rubber forms itself around the master model, creating a three-dimensional impression of the jewelry. The rubber is cut in half to remove the master model, and what we get here is a perfect rubber mould which can be duplicated for thousands of wax replicas for mass production.
